    The Westfalenklinik has been located at Rosemeyerstraße 2-4 in Dortmund for 25 years. Patients have always been treated here in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery in an atmosphere of trust. And the medical director himself, Dr. med. Uwe Herrboldt, with his decades of experience, is still here on site and there for his patients. For you this means: consultation, surgery and care after your chosen operation take place in one place. Under §30 GewO, our specialist clinic is under the direct supervision of the Ordnungsamt Dortmund, the Gesundheitsamt Dortmund and the Regierungspräsidium Arnsberg and is subject to the requirements for operating a private hospital.

    Our team of ten doctors, half a dozen anaesthetists and more than 30 qualified medical nursing professionals has been a well-functioning unit for many years. In medicine it matters that every manoeuvre is well practised and that calm, composure and decisiveness remain even under pressure. Our team specialises in aesthetic surgery and is attuned to your needs. Teamwork is not just a tradition with us – teamwork is the DNA of the Westfalenklinik.

  3. Quality is our standard – with TÜV certificate

    Quality in all its facets is an essential expression of who we are. The Westfalenklinik has therefore made a commitment and set up a strict quality management system. With it, we meet the requirements of the internationally applicable standard DIN ISO 9001 and are regularly audited by TÜV SÜD; the TÜV certificate confirms our own standard. In addition, our doctors are members of their medical specialist societies. As medical director, Dr. med. Uwe Herrboldt is a member of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Plastische und Ästhetische Chirurgie (DGPRÄC) and is also the doctor responsible for hygiene. Our hygiene standards comply with the guidelines of the Robert-Koch-Institut (RKI) and are continuously monitored by our institute responsible for hygiene, CeBe Hygienemanagement GmbH.

  4. Open, honest and valuable advice

    Our doctors advise you openly, honestly and thoroughly. It is a particular concern of ours that, before your chosen treatment, you receive a comprehensive and complete overview of all the essential aspects. This includes, just as much, the consideration of opportunities and risks, the explanation of side effects and recovery times, as well as specialist advice on the medical devices, compression garments or support bras that are suitable for you. We stand by our approach of not pressing a treatment on our patients, but want to be at your side with advice and practical help as an objective companion as far as possible. In cases where it is called for, we also actively advise against a procedure or point out alternative solutions.

  5. Fixed prices without hidden costs

    The treatment prices at the Westfalenklinik are always final prices and include the statutory VAT, which we are obliged to remit. Your costs do not increase afterwards through accommodation or meal costs, implants, follow-up treatments, the costs of the anaesthetist or insurance. This gives you full transparency on costs. Financing is possible through our financing partner.

  6. Tested implants and medical devices

    We pay attention to the qualifications of our team and take no experiments or risks with the suppliers who supply us. We use products that meet the applicable requirements and the current state of medical research and that are selected with a view to the safety of our patients. This applies to medicines as well as to medical materials, e.g. breast implants, gastric balloons or treatments by injection (hyaluronic acid, muscle relaxant).

  7. Protection against follow-⁠up costs

    At the Westfalenklinik you have the option of protecting yourself against follow-up costs for medical treatments that may become necessary afterwards. This follow-up cost insurance can cover costs that could arise after an aesthetic procedure, e.g. through corrections. We will explain the exact scope of cover to you in the consultation. The Westfalenklinik offers you this additional insurance at cost price and does not profit from this choice.

    For us it goes without saying that we are there for every patient. This applies especially after your procedure and in an emergency. A personal contact person accompanies you from the first consultation to the final follow-up examination.

  9. Anaesthesia by specialised anaesthetists

    The anaesthetists who work for us are comprehensively trained and have undergone further training, and they concentrate on anaesthesia services in plastic and aesthetic surgery.

    Because good tolerability of the anaesthesia is the most important criterion for us in working with our partners. This includes not only your well-being after the treatment, but also during the treatment. Our anaesthetists are always at your side for the entire duration of your procedure and tailor the anaesthesia to your procedure, with the aim that you recover as quickly as possible after waking up.

  10. Your treatment wish is our standard

    The Westfalenklinik Dortmund is a specialist clinic for plastic and aesthetic surgery. With us, your chosen treatment is our most important concern. This is why treatment is in principle possible on any day of the week, from Monday to Sunday. We do not depend on external partners such as surgery centres, affiliated clinics or hospital departments and their availability. This also applies to the complete postoperative care and support of our patients. The night service at the Westfalenklinik is also provided by our own qualified staff trained in emergency medicine. We do everything we can to make your treatment, including your stay at the Westfalenklinik, as pleasant and relaxed as possible.
