Your breast operation takes place at the Westfalenklinik in Dortmund, from the first consultation to the final check-up. The specialist clinic for plastic and aesthetic surgery has been working at the same location in Rosemeyerstraße for 25 years and does not depend on external surgical centres, private-practice hospitals or hospital departments, neither for the operation nor for the nursing and care afterwards. A personal contact person accompanies you through all appointments.

The clinic is located directly on the B1/A40, in the immediate vicinity of the Signal Iduna Park. By car, you leave the B1 at the Dortmund-Hombruch exit and park on the building’s parking deck directly in front of the entrance; from the main station, take the U45 to Stadtgarten and then the U42 to Theodor-Fliedner-Heim.

    Day of surgery

    The procedure. Depending on the procedure, the operation takes about 30 minutes to 3 hours. After a Preservé™ breast augmentation you usually go home the same day; after the other procedures you stay one or two nights in the clinic.

  4. Step 4

    The weeks that follow

    Taking it easy. After a breast augmentation, breast lift or breast reduction, you wear a sports or support bra for about 4 to 6 weeks and refrain from sport for that long. After Preservé™, light sport is often possible after only about a week.

  5. Step 5

    Aftercare

    Check-ups at the clinic. You return to the Westfalenklinik for the check-up appointments, after Preservé™ for example after 2 weeks, 6 months and 1 year, up to the final check-up.

The cost of a breast operation depends on the procedure, the surgical method, the implants used and your individual starting situation. After your consultation at the Westfalenklinik, we will draw up a no-obligation treatment quote for you.

The Westfalenklinik’s treatment prices are final prices including statutory VAT. Overnight stay and meals, implants, follow-up treatments, the cost of the anaesthetist and insurance are not added afterwards. If you wish, you can take out follow-up cost insurance against the cost of possible follow-up procedures, which we offer at cost price. An aesthetic breast operation is a self-pay service; German statutory health insurance funds typically do not cover aesthetic operations. This can be different in the case of serious malformations of the breast.

Can a breast lift be combined with an augmentation or a reduction?

Yes. A breast lift can be combined with a breast augmentation or a breast reduction on request. An implant alone gives volume but does not lift a markedly sagging breast.
