THE PROCESS
How Preservé™ breast augmentation works at the Westfalenklinik
In a personal consultation, we discuss your wishes, carry out a thorough physical examination and inform you comprehensively about the possibilities, limits and risks of the method. The procedure itself generally takes only about 30 to 45 minutes and is performed without general anaesthesia, under local anaesthesia with accompanying twilight sedation. This keeps the strain on your body low.

THE TECHNIQUE
The procedure in detail: how the Preservé™ technique works
The Preservé™ technique is based on specially developed instruments and follows a three-stage process that is meant to protect the tissue:
Step 1
Tunnelling
With the help of the Motiva Channel Separator, a precise access route through the inframammary fold to the future implant pocket is created, while the supporting tissue structures are meant to be protected.
Step 2
Balloon-assisted elongation
By inflating the Motiva Inflatable Balloon in a controlled way, the implant pocket is stretched gently and gradually. The surrounding tissue and the stabilising ligament structures are preserved.
Step 3
Implant insertion
The SmoothSilk® Ergonomix2® implant is placed sterile and touch-free via the Motiva Insertion Sleeve. This no-touch technique is meant to shorten the duration of the procedure and reduce the risk of infection.
AFTER THE PROCEDURE
Your recovery: back to everyday life
In the first few days after the procedure, slight swelling can occur, which generally subsides quickly. Many patients are back out among people after just one to two days. Light exercise is often possible after about a week, unrestricted physical activity after about three weeks, generally sooner than after a classic breast augmentation. The suture knots are cut off after about two weeks. Regular follow-up appointments at Westfalenklinik after 2 weeks, 6 months and 1 year accompany the healing process. Your final breast shape develops over the coming months and is generally stable after around six months.

TECHNOLOGY
The implants: Motiva Ergonomix2®
Preservé™ breast augmentation uses Ergonomix2® implants from the manufacturer Motiva. According to the manufacturer, these implants were specially developed for a natural-looking result: they have a very soft feel and a movement behaviour that is meant to adapt to the body's own breast movement. The 4-micron SmoothSilk® surface is meant to promote tissue integration and reduce the risk of capsular contracture. Thanks to their flexible nature, the implants can also be placed through small incisions.
The integrated RFID technology enables non-invasive verification of the implant, including during later MRI scans. This means it can be determined at any time which implant was inserted, without an additional procedure being necessary.

What distinguishes Preservé™ from classic breast augmentation?
Westfalenklinik offers you various proven methods of breast augmentation, including classic breast augmentation with implants and breast augmentation with your own fat. The Preservé™ method complements this range as a tissue-sparing alternative.

Is Preservé™ breast augmentation painful?

Does the procedure have to take place under general anaesthesia?

Wow, was für ein erster Eindruck!
Dr. Frank Gruner, dessen Professionalität von jahrelanger Erfahrung zeugt, war äußerst verständlich und menschlich (was mir sehr wichtig war). Er verstand meine Bedürfnisse, und seine Erklärungen und Anweisungen entsprachen genau meinen Vorstellungen.

Ich kann bisher nur eingeschränkt bewerten, da ich lediglich ein Informationsgespräch hatte.
Der Arzt war sehr freundlich und ruhig. Er hat meine Fragen fachlich kompetent beantwortet und mich ausführlich darüber informiert, welche Behandlung zu meiner körperlichen Konstitution passen könnte. Außerdem erklärte er mir die Prozedur sowie die möglichen Risiken.
Im Anschluss hatte ich ein Gespräch mit den zuständigen Mitarbeitenden zur finanziellen Seite. Dort wurde ich über die Kosten, eine zusätzliche Versicherung, Ratenzahlungsmöglichkeiten sowie die organisatorischen Abläufe rund um die Operation informiert.

Am Tag der Beratung hat Frau Dr simidjiiska sich außergewöhnlich viel Zeit für mich genommen.

Am Tag der Op wurde ich von einem unglaublich einfühlsamen Team empfangen.

Das gab mir ein großes Gefühl von Sichheiit.

Ich war für meine Augenoberlidstraffung in der Westfalen Klinik und insgesamt nur von 8 bis 11 Uhr dort – alles war bestens organisiert und lief reibungslos ab.

Frau Dr. med. Maria Simidjiiska hat nach dem Eingriff noch einmal persönlich nach mir geschaut, was mir zusätzliche Sicherheit gegeben hat. Kurz darauf konnte ich auch schon wieder nach Hause.

Tolle Beratung, man hatte nicht das Gefühl dass Behandlungen zusätzlich aufgezwungen werden. Man bekommt eine ehrliche Einschätzung und eine Empfehlung pro Patient. Ich überlege derzeit mich dort in dem nächsten halben Jahr operieren zu lassen.

Ich hatte heute mein Beratungsgespräch. Am Empfang wurde ich sehr offen und freundlich empfangen. Sie hatten viel zu tun aber es hatte keine Auswirkung auf uns Patienten.Es blieben keine Fragen offen. Es wurde sich richtig Zeit genommen für Erklärung und zuhören. Ich stand im Mittelpunkt und mir wurde Anspannung genommen. Dafür erstmal schon ein Dankeschön 😉

Hier fühlt man sich von der Erstberatung bis zur Entlassung sehr gut aufgehoben. Den Ausschlag für die Wahl dieser Klinik gab der Hinweis der Ärztin, ob ich mir über die Größe der Narben bewusst wäre. Diese Tatsache benannte sie direkt und empfahl eine andere Methode, die bei mir ausreichen würde, obwohl die gewöhnliche Hautstraffung mittels Schnitt sicherlich lukrativer gewesen wäre. Das hat mich überzeugt. Auch der Aufenthalt in der Klinik wurde so angenehm wie möglich gestaltet und es wurde auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen. Der Kaffee der Nachtschwester morgens um 5 war das I-Tüpfelchen. ☺️

Es war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis. Von der Frau Doktor bis zu den Anästhesie bis zu pflege Personal. Sie sind sehr nett und sind immer für den Patenten da. Ich kann die Klinik sehr empfehlen.

Jeder wird freundlich empfangen und behandelt, egal aus welcher Arbeitsschicht. Dr Reifenrath sowie alle Angestellten arbeiten professionell und Patientenorientiert. Stationär wie am Empfang, kümmert man sich sehr höflich und liebevoll um den Patienten. Der Anästhesist, seine Helferinnen und OP Schwestern waren ebenso freundlich und haben versucht mir die Nervosität zu nehmen. Alles in allem bin ich mit meiner Wahl der Klinik sehr glücklich.

Absolute Empfehlung! Ich habe mich vor einigen Wochen für eine Brustvergrößerung & Straffung bei Herrn Dr. Reifenrath entschieden. Vom ersten Besuch in der Klinik, bis zur OP und dem weiteren Verlauf war ich schlichtweg begeistert. Ich habe bei Herrn Dr. Reifenrath eine Bauchdeckenstraffung mit Korrektur einer Rektusdiastase und einer Fettabsaugung durchführen lassen. Ich habe mich jederzeit gut beraten und behandelt gefühlt. Die Heilung verläuft genauso, wie es Dr. Reifenrath im Vorfeld beschrieben hat und ich war nach wenigen Tagen wieder erstaunlich fit. Die Schmerzen hielten sich in Grenzen, die Nachsorge ist sehr unproblematisch und das Ergebnis super. Das gesamte Personal, ob am Empfang, im OP, auf Station oder in den Behandlungsräumen war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich habe mich rundum gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Vielen Dank!
