Labia reduction (reduction of the inner labia)

The reduction of the inner labia is the most frequently requested operation in intimate surgery. Especially after one or more births, many women would like to reduce their labia. Physical discomfort, such as pain when cycling, jogging or during sexual intercourse, can also be relieved by a correction of the labia. It is a relatively short procedure that often stems from the wish for the inner labia to be covered by the outer ones, which, especially in today’s age of intimate shaving, is more noticeable than it used to be. In most cases, patients do in fact decide on a correction for aesthetic reasons.

The surgical labia reduction takes about 30 minutes and is carried out under local anaesthesia.
